Our Educational and Student Services teams are so excited to offer embedded professional learning opportunities for teachers during the 2020-21 school year. Our five-week professional learning block 2 will begin the week of January 18th. Please review the elementary (red) and secondary (green) offerings and register for one of the many topics that are provided. The intention with this multi-session approach is to provide you with an opportunity to delve deeper into a given topic, collaborate with colleagues, and implement the learning into your practice. If you find that you are interested in multiple topics, do not worry, you can sign up for a different topic during the remaining three blocks.

Once logged in you will be able to select any of the five-week series to view the descriptions.
Choose one of the series. You will need to attend all five sessions within the series you select.

During this time of extraordinary change and stress, come learn about the benefits of mindfulness for our students and ourselves. We will practice tools to reduce stress in our lives and enhance the feeling of ease and well-being. You will learn how to begin and sustain a meditation practice, and how to implement fun, easy and practical exercises to use with your students.
TK teachers will have the opportunity to share strategies and plan together using common goals around distance learning, while still focusing on the developmental needs of our early learners.
